Q. can i make my own bots?
A. i, thankfully, do not own the idea of lyric bots, and i actively encourage you to make your own! the more lyrics twitter is filled with, the better :3 however, i do request that you don't make anything at the top of my under construction list, because i am actively working on those! (also, please tell me about it, so i can add it to this carrd and we can build a giiiiaaaant network together)

Q. a lyric is incorrect. how do i fix this?
A. i've probably got a lot of the others wrong-- just dm me or the bot some official source (zines, inserts, what have you) and i'll fix it.

Q. hey, the bot's down!
A. yeah, they lock up once in a while :/ there's not much i can do besides appeal and wait, but twitter usually lets me get them back.

Q. certain bands here have albums that are considered not-as-good-as-the-others. does the robot include the entire discography?
A. i try to include everything, but sometimes i'll make concessions if general opinion is negative enough. so far this only applies to: dismemberment plan/uncanney valley and the jesus and mary chain/damage and joy.

Q. i am an eagle-eyed hardcore nonstop rabid fan of [insert band here] and i have somehow noticed that some words are off on the longer lyrics. why is this?
A. i unfortunately had to modify some of the longer lyrics so they would fit the 280 character count, sorry. i did try to keep them as close as possible, but it was either change them or scrap the whole lyric. (this also pretty much only applies to parquet courts, dismemberment plan, and the fall, i believe?)

A. @consolationep's sense of aesthetic was permanently corrupted by 2014 tumblr and she wants to retweet these and also she is selfish.

A. she is seventeen and very bored! i am told it's either this or "steal traffic signs" and "get addicted to fruit-flavored nicotine" though i don't really know what either of those things mean.

A. as a rule of courtesy, i try to ask all of them if they're able to be contacted. there's, of course, some bands i can't realistically ask, but the ones i've obtained blessings from are (1) protomartyr, (2) preoccupations, and (3) bambara.

A. no because i have no idea what any women lyrics are even though they are one of my favorite bands ever. if you can get me any official source i will probably love you forever and also immediately make the women bot.

A. i didn't feel like doing those because transcribing 31 LPs and 2 EPs literally fried my frontal lobe, but i might input peel sessions and whatnot one day when my brain reverts to its normal shape.
